Potential Blueprints ~

6-9 pm

Drawings are interstitial acts. Though of course a drawing is often an end in itself this exhibition is focused on drawings that are a step towards something else, a kind of plan. They propose something new in the world, or an entirely new world onto itself. These drawings hold the potential for creation through recombining pieces of existing reality or by creating entirely new vertices of space and depiction. They produce these possibilities with a kind of immediacy, without the weights of material, or technology that burden other kinds of depiction. This exhibition is about drawings as proposals of something new, as a kind of document of the future, or an alternative to it.

This exhibition features work by  Angus Ferguson, Casey Polacheck, Patrick Shields and Evelyn Walker
